Crisis management
Immediate assistance, intervention and prevention
The more companies and institutions find themselves in the public eye, the greater the risk of coming under the spotlight in an unforeseen manner. This can lead to situations with varying degrees of crisis-like characteristics. It does not have to be a major catastrophe. Often it is the small and medium-sized crises which cause considerable damage, in financial terms, as well as to a company’s image and reputation.
Crisis management, communication and prevention thus already rank among the standard tasks in corporate communication, and not only in the classic risk industries.
